The 7 Nights train journey traverses across the beaches of Western India & Deccan plateau of Central India & you see glimpses of the brave exploits of near legendry 17th century Maratha Warrior King-Shivaji Maharaj.

Day 01 : Wednesday - Mumbai
Depart: Report at Resham Bhawan, Churchgate (MTDC office) by 3p.m. to board buses & transfer to Railway Station & board Deccan Odyssey Luxury Train Tour. High Tea & dinner on board.

Day 02 : Thursday - Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri
Breakfast on board. Drive from Bhoke Railway Station to Rai Jetty & boat ride till Jaigadh jetty to view Jaigadh Fort. Later explore one of the finest beaches on Konkan coast-Ganpatipule. Enjoy cultural show & lunch at Ganpatipule Beach hotel. Late afternoon drive to Ratnagiri town & board Train. Dinner on board.

Day 03 : Friday - Sindhudurg, Tarkarli
Breakfast on board. From Sindhudurg Nagari drive to Malvan Jetty & visit Sindhudurg Fort by boat. Later drive to Tarkarli beach for Lunch & cultural program. Boat cruise from Taekarli jetty across the creek to Walaval jetty & board buses for Sawantwadi town-famous for it's Shilpgram handicraft bazaar. Board the train from Sawantwadi Railway Station. Dinner on board.

Day 04 : Saturday - Goa
Breakfast on board. From Karmali Railway Station proceed for tour of Old Goa to view Basilica of Bom Jesus Church, Se Cathedral Church, St. Francis of Assissi & visit to Fontanhas - the Latin quarters at Panjim. Lunch at Goa Beach resort & time free. Evening board Maharaja train from Madgoan Railway Station. Dinner on board.

Day 05 : Sunday - Pune
Breakfast on board. Morning visit Kelkar Museum, Shaniwwarwada, drive past Synagogue & visit Agha Khan Palace. visit Hotel for lunch. Afternoon board the train & depart. Dinner on board. station

Day 06 : Monday - Aurangabad
Breakfast on board. Morning visit Daulatabad Fort &excursion to Ellora caves. Lunch & cultural program at Aurangabad Hotel. Optional visit to Bibi Ka Makbara & time free for shopping. Evening return to Train & depart. Dinner on board.

Day 07 : Tuesday - Ajanta, Nasik
Breakfast on board. From Jalgoan Railway Station drive to Ajanta caves & return to train for Lunch . Proceed to Nasik. Visit Panchvati Ghat. Farewell Dinner on board.

Day 08 : Wednesday - Mumbai
Arrival: Breakfast on Board. Option to leave tour by 0815 hrs. at Bombay Central.

- Any leg of minimum of 3 nights subject to availability will be given at the above-mentioned rates. Thus Mumbai-Goa and Goa-Mumbai sector will be sold as available segments to clients.

- If however, the client undertakes the day programmer at Goa & Mumbai, an extra $ 100 USD per person OR in INR Rs.4200 will be charged.

- Service Tax @ of 3.09% is applicable on the gross ticket value of the Deccan Odyssey tours commencing from September 2007. This tax is applicable on day programmer at Mumbai & Goa.

- Tariff is inclusive of travel / catering / conducted sight-seeing / entrance fee at Monuments / Parks / Palaces / Cultural Programmers / Boat Ride. The guest has to pay for video cameras, liquor, laundry and other items of personal nature.
