Day 1 - ARRIVE BOMBAY

disembark from your jet in Bombay - a metropolis of vitality
and energy.

Day 2 - AT BOMBAY
This morning city tour will take you to all of
Bombay’s best known landmarks; impressive Gateway of India
built in 1911. The handsome Prince of Wales Museum famous for
it’s collection of miniature paintings, Marine Drive, Bombay’s
sweeping shoreline, unique Hanging gardens and Mani Bhawan,
memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Day 3 - AT BOMBAY / SHIRDI
Morning depart for Shirdi by Coach.
On arrival check in at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - AT SHIRDI
This morning visit the Samadhi or Memorial of
Shirdi Sai Baba which draws a large number of devotees
(followers) to Shirdi throughout the year. Thursday is a
specially auspicious day because Sai Baba attained Nirvana
(salvation) on a Thursday. Visit the temple of Sai Baba and
also the Ashram (Hermitages).

Day 5 - AT SHIRDHI / PUNE / BANGALORE
Morning depart for Pune. Shivaji the great great
Maratha Leader was raised here in Pune, which was granted to
his grandfather in 1599. Later it became the capital of the
Peshwas, but in 1817 went to British, under whom it became the
capital of the region during the mansoon.
Take a short flight to Bangalore - Founded in 1537 by
Kempegowda, a far sighted local chieftain, Bangalore has
blossomed into one of Asia’s fastest - growing cities.
Bangalore combines the vibrant pace of a modern metropolis
with a quaint old -world charm. Perched at a height of 3250
feet above sea level, its salubrious climate plays host to
innumerable parks, gardens, lakes and verdant tree- lined
avenues that give it the sobriquet “Garden City”
Bangalore is a multi-faceted jewel. Modern marvels,
historic monuments, bustling, shopping plazas, tranquil
walking paths, rustling silk and fragrant sandal wood exotic
cuisine and friendly people.

Day 6 - AT BANGALORE
This morning you visit the Vidhana Soudha housing
the State Legislature are secretariat, was conceived and
executed by Kengal Hanumanthaiya, the then Chief Minster, in
1956. It is built entirely of Bangalore granite in the Neo
Dravidian style.
Directly opposite it stands the Gothic structure of the attara
Kacheri which houses the state High Court. The high Court
building was completed in 1868 and stands in the green
splendour of the Cubbon Park laid out in 1864 by Lieutenant
General Sir Mark Cubbon.
The Lalbagh Gardens, laid out in 1760 by Hyder Ali has an area
of 240 acres. The glass house, inspired by the Crystal Palace
in London is a favourite spot in Lalbagh. The Bangalore
Palace, built in 1887 by Wodeyar King, is today a favourite
spot for picnickers and film -makers, with its vast grounds
and Tudor style architecture.
Afternoon visit “WHITE FIELD”, the Ashram of Satya Sai
Baba who is said to be the “Incarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi.”

Day 7 - TRAVEL BANGALORE /
PUTTAPARTHI

In the morning depart for Puttaparthi - is the home
of the modern day saint Philosopher who is credited with
benign powers, SRI SATHYA SAI BABA. A legend in his own times,
Sai Baba has devotees around the world. Enroute visit Lepakshi
temple.
On arrival check in at HOTEL SATHYA SAI TOWERS.

Day 8 - AT PUTTAPARTHI
Spend the full day in the Ashram.

Morning depart for Mysore - 770 mts above sea
level, the city of Mysore was once the capital of wodeyars. It
still retains a quaint charm that never fails to enchant.

Day 11 - AT MYSORE
This morning you visit Mysore Palace once the
residence of Wodeyars, is one of the largest of its kind in
India and one of the most splendid. This Indo Saracenic
buildings has among other things - a carved silver door, a
solid gold throne and a gallery of exquisite paintings,
This afternoon you visit Somnathpur - Sri Chnnakeshra built
around 1260 AD during the heyday of the Hoysala Kings, is at
Somnathpur. It’s an extremely beautiful and interesting
buildings. The walls of the star shaped temple are literally
covered with superb sculptures in stone depicting various
scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita and the
life and times of the Hoysala Kings. Not two friezes are like.

Day 12 - MYSORE / COONOOR
Morning depart for Coonoor. Locally known as Mount
Pleasant, Coonoor is a collage of wonders. A genial climate,
abundance of flowers and greenery makes Coonoor a sure treat
for tired eyes and overworked souls.
You will see tea planters in shorts from the neighbouring tea
estates, drapper officer and their ladies from the Defence
Services Staff Collage atop the hill.

Day 13 - AT COONOOR
This morning visit the sights of Coonoor:
Sim’s Park
A profusion of rare species of plants, shrubs and ferns in
an exquisite stretch of trees and turf, this over 100 year old
park lies in a little ravine and is never to be missed.
Lamb’s Rock
The sight of Mettupalyam (a foot -hill town) enveloped in
the blue haze and lush vegetation is indeed breathtaking. One
of the most favourite sports in Coonoor.
Dolphin’s Nose
Nature’s tribute to human sight and sense of marvel, this
unique rock in the shape of an uprushing dolphin promises a
breathtaking view of the magnificence of St. Catherine’s Fall,
falling across the canyon.

BOMBAY
Morning depart for Coimbatore to board
flight for Bombay.
Depart Coimbatore by IC 958 at 1150 hrs
