KUMARAKOM - Nestling
between emerald green rice fields and Kerala’s famous
backwaters, the coconut lagoons is on the banks of Vemband
Lake. A tranquil resort, it embodies the natural beauty,

tapestries of verdant fields, where azure skies swoop down to

Bound by the Vemband lake on the two sides, the swaying paddy
fields on the one side and the bird sanctuary on the other,

COCONUT LAGOONS
An inspiration comes from the century old
traditions of architecture: the rooms are wooden Kerala houses
built over century ago, transplanted from various villages by
skilled craftsmen, with a sweeping backwaters view across
landscape gardens. The interiors of the room employ
traditional Kerala Colours, carved wood and terra-cotta
throughout.
Resort has a swimming pool and choice of activities which
include sailing, rowing, bird watching or even exploring the
quaint country side.

ACCESS
Coconut lagoon is not approachable by road. It can
be reached only by boat.
Visitors driving from Cochin connect the boat at the
Thannermukh boat landing.
Visitors driving at Periyar connect the boat at the
Kavanatigara Boat landing.

14 Heritage mansions - duplex bungalow, bed room
upstairs and living and bath on the ground. 23 Heritage
bungalows - independent single floor villas.
