Day 1 - MUMBAI
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to
hotel.
Afternoon visit the church of lady of the Mount in Bandar and
also St. Mary’s Basilica, situated on a hill, 16 Kms from
Mumbai. This shrine has 400 years old history, a little chapel
having been built in 1566. The present beautiful structure was
built in 1904. The Basilica is frequented by large number of
pilgrims throughout the year.

Day 2 - MUMBAI
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves by Motor
Launch, 10 kms across the harbour from Mumbai - the island is
famous for 1200 years old caves, dedicated to Lord Shiva - the
famous Trimurthi sculpture signifying the trinity of the
creator, preserver and destroyer.
Afternoon sightseeing tour visiting Gateway of India, Prince
of Wales Museum (closed to Mondays), Fish Aquarium, Jain
Temple, Hanging gardens on the slopes of Malabar hills
offering nice view of Marine lines and Chowpatty beach, Kamla
Nehru park, Mani Bhawan (where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay),
then Dhobi Ghat. Also drive past Afghan church, flora fountain
(Mumbai nerve centre), Colourful Crawford Market and Marine
drive.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 – MUMBAI / PUNE / MUMBAI
Early morning transfer to Railway station to board
train for Pune.
Depart Mumbai
Arrive Pune
Meeting and assistance on arrival and proceed to visit the
Papal Seminary - established for the Indian diocessan clergy.
Visit the St. Mary’s Church. Visit Indian Institute of Social
Order where Gandhian ideals of social
justice and the spirit of tolerance are interpreted.
Lunch at hotel. In time transfer to Railway station to board
train for Mumbai.

Arrive Mumbai
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 4 – MUMBAI / GOA
In time transfer to airport to board flight for
Goa.

Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.

Day 5 - GOA
Morning visit to Old Goa driving by the Seashore.
Here the ensemble of monasteries covents and chapels will take
you back to the days when the Apostle of the Indies, St.
Francis Xavier, preached the Gospel of Christ. Visit the
Basilica of Bom Jesus where mortal remains of the Saint lie
preserved in a silver ornate caset.
Also visit St. Cathedral - the biggest church in the East.
Visit the church of St. Cajetan modeled on the original design
of St. Peter’s in Rome.
Afternoon drive through Panjim visiting the Church of our Lady
of Immaculate Conception, the Beach and the Bay.

Day 6 – GOA / COCHIN
Morning transfer to airport to board for Cochin.

Arrive Cochin
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon visit St. Francis Church where Vasco-da-Gama was
originally buried. 14 years later his mortal remains were
taken to Portugal. This Protestant church was built originally
by Portuguese in 1510 AD and is believed to be the first
church built by Europeans in India. Visit Santa Cruz Cathedral
- Roman Catholic Church situated close to St. Francis Church
built by the Portuguese in 16th century.

Day 7 – KUMARAKOM / MADURAI
Depart for Madurai by surface.
Arrive and check-in at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 - MADURAI
Full day excursion to Velanianni, a centre of
Pilgrimage for Catholics. Our Lady of Velananni built by
Portuguese is an enormous white Church towering over an
ordered
and clean complex of Church-run schools, dispensaries and home
for destitutes. Inspite of the thousands of people who visit
every day, there is a strange serenity about Velananni. Return
to Madurai.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 – MADURAI / CHENNAI
Visit Meenakshi temple and Trimula Naya Palace - a
gracious building in the Indo Sarcenic style famous for
stuccok work on its domes and arches.
Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight for Chennai.
Depart Madurai
Arrive Chennai.
Transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 - CHENNAI
Morning visit St. Mary’s Church in Fort St. George
constructed in 1680. The oldest Anglican Church in India and
the East. St. Thomas Cathedral built in Neo-Gothic style in
1896. The apostle St. Thomas is said to have buried at this
site . Also visit Little mount Church, St. George Cathedral-
an Anglican Church built at the end of 18th century.
Afternoon at leisure for independent activities.

Day 11 – CHENNAI / CALCUTTA
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for
Calcutta.
Depart Chennai
Arrive Calcutta
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon visit St. Paul’s Cathedral consecrated in 1847. It
is a tall white Gothic building. visit St. John’s Church built
in 1784. The grave yard here has a number of interesting
monuments including the Octagonal mausoleum of Job Charnoc
founder of Calcutta who died in 1692. Visit Victoria Memorial
which is most imposing reminder of the British presence in
Calcutta.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 – CALCUTTA DELHI
Full day excursion to Bandel and visit the Church
of our lady consecrated in 1599. Return to Calcutta. In time
transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi.

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 – DEPART DELHI
Morning visit the Cathedral of Sacred Heart and
Cathedral Church of the redemption. Also visit St. Thomas
church.
Afternoon combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. In New
Delhi visit Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, drive past India
Gate, President’s House and Parliament House. In Old Delhi
visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat - the final resting
place of Mahatama Gandhi.
Transfer to International airport.
